"Rack of Arms" | Relief Print
Wood Relief Print for Relief Course at UW-Stout.
I took a relief printmaking course at UW-Stout in the Spring of 2013 and one of the projects was based off of a playing card that we picked at random. We then had to incorporate a current issue along with the card suite and type. Which in my case was the Jack of Spades.

My current issue was based off of the gun ban - hence the antlers being replaced with weapons. It also was a nod towards how we used to kill our food (with bows and arrows) to how we hunt now (with firearms). The deer is the thing being hunted in that scenario.
